Speckled Glaze Ceramic Soap Dispenser with Gold Pump

A cone-shaped soap dispenser in a glossy reactive glaze: a warm oatmeal-cream ground covered in irregular cocoa-brown spots and fine freckles, like a quail egg, with a thin rust-brown halo where the glaze pools under the collar. It is topped with a polished gold pump and a long angled spout.

The shape is wide and softly rounded at the base, narrowing to the shoulder, so it sits low and steady on a vanity or by the kitchen sink and does not tip when you press the pump.

Because the glaze is reactive, the spots move in the kiln and no two dispensers come out the same. The density and placement of the spots and the warmth of the rust halo will vary from piece to piece. That is the nature of the finish, not a flaw.

Care

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive scourers and bleach-based cleaners, which dull the gloss and the gold finish over time. Not dishwasher safe. If the pump slows, run warm water through it to clear dried soap. Very thick lotions may pump more slowly.
